(A message to the parents from MS3 Academy Parent Club)

Under the guidance of Mr. Braun, the MS3 Academy has established a Parent Club to support our students and to keep parents abreast of the Academy's activities and achievement. Our goal is to become involved in supporting our students' academic achievement by organizing student recognition activities, encouraging participation in AP and Honors classes, encouraging preparation for SAT and ACT tests, organizing scholarship fundraisers for special programs, participating in workshops for parents and planning enrichment activities.

Club officers have been asked to join the Academy's advisory panel at their meetings where they plan student activities, award scholarships, and select future students. Parental support and involvement is one of the biggest factors in student success and a strong parent club can assure the success of all students in the program.

On August 1, 2008 the first Parent Club meeting was held and officers were chosen. They are as follows:
